
Archeological site featuring the remnants of a walled enclosure dating to the Chalcolithic period (first quarter of the 3rd millenium BC). Beautiful views of the Muxagata Valley and Serra da Estrela.
The dolmen is an ancient burial chamber dating back to the neolithic period, roughly 3,000 to 4,000 BC. It consists of nine granite pillars with a large roof slab. The chamber is 3 meters in height and nearly 4 meters in length.

Another nearby archeological site featuring remnants of walls dating back to the bronze age. The walls are built among massive granite bolders on a steep ridge overlooking the Mondego valley and offer panoramic views of the valley and the Serra de Estrela mountains in the distance.
